SOKA PERFORMANCE & JACKIE BABY SHOWER

SOKA PERFORMANCE & JACKIE BABY SHOWER

Mummy was invited by her boss to the SOKA performance. Early in the morning after my milk, we set off to Tampines. Wah!!! The place was very crowded and very warm-welcoming at its doorstep. Just imagine the “Lee” family walking through the two lines of people on both our left and right side; that’s just what always happens to movie stars on the red carpet. Hehe!!! At the beginning of the show, I was too focused on watching the lion dance. After the lion dance ended, I must admit I did feel a bit bored liao. As I started to get cranky in the hall, Mummy brought me outside to play with the balloons. :)

After the Soka performance, we headed for Jackie’s house. Today was Jackie 1st mth old. Very fast hor… Anyway, Jackie was always in his bedroom; and I was bz playing outside in the living room and couldn’t keep still as Daddy tried to carry me to take pictures with Jackie. I was very active lor… Hehe~!

We finally reached home at 4pm+. Mummy actually thought that I was tired coz I only took a 1hr+ nap in the car whilst on the way to Jackie’s hse. So Mummy made milk milk for me, hoping I would sleep after the drink; she was wrong. I was so energetic and I didn’t want to sleep at all. I walked quickly to the living room and took my toys out to play. Mummy almost went crazy liao… Hahaha!!! All this while, Daddy went to Vivocity Giant to buy some storage cabinets for my clothes as Gong Gong will be moving in to stay with us the following day. See!!! I am playing with my pinkish car car, and I laughed and laughed so happily!!! ….:)

CARD FOR TEACHERS

CARD FOR TEACHERS

Mummy had made some nice little cards for all teachers in school. I also contributed in making those cards; Mummy let me paste some cute stickers on each card. She also made a ‘Neoprint’ sticker photo to add into the card to show the teachers that I was really taking part in the whole card-making process. Hehe… The day before, Mummy read a notice from my school stating that all kids are encouraged to wear party clothes cos there would be a celebration for Teacher’s Day!!! She excitedly prepared a nice dress with pretty plaits for me to attend the party celebration… Keke… Mummy is always so sweet!!!

BIRTHDAY GIFTS FROM CLASSMATE RUI EN

BIRTHDAY GIFTS FROM CLASSMATE RUI EN

Today’s my classmate Rui En’s 1st Birthday. Her gift pack was interesting. I liked the pair of yellow sunglasses so much that I would be very happy whenever I put them on. A pity that my head is still a bit too small for the sunglasses as it kept sliding off my face. Hehe!

VISIT COUSIN JACKIE

VISIT COUSIN JACKIE

Keke… I went to visit Cousin Jackie. He could be heard crying out loud at times and everyone was wondering if he was hungry or if his diaper was wet?? The confinement lady quickly responded; saying that he just wanted to be carried. She proved that the moment she carried him, he had actually stopped crying and it was quiet once again. I think all babies like to be carried and hugged. Mummy said I was not really a crybaby when I was that young too. However, she also mentioned that nowadays I’ve been getting naughty; I would scream and shout whenever I couldn’t get what I wanted. Keke..

MMR & BREAKFAST AT LONG JOHN SILVER’S

MMR & BREAKFAST AT LONG JOHN SILVER’S

I went for my MMR jab in the morning. Here’s my latest update on my growth chart as at 15mths:

Weight : 10.7kg (Seems like not much progress hor…)
Height : 78cm

I thought I was very brave; when the jab went right into my little thigh, I did not make too much of a noise. Mummy and Daddy were so relieved that I could endure the pain. After we left the clinic, Mummy wanted to eat Long John Silver’s Breakfast. So we headed for Tiong Bahru Plaza. Somehow Long John Silver’s Breakfast did not seem yummy to me. But no worries! Mummy had prepared my white bread for such situations… Hehe... Look!! I enjoyed having my own bread too… :)

ANIMAL PUZZLE & WHERE IS MY HEAD??

I finally learnt how to play with my Animal Puzzle. Mummy bought this puzzle when I was 13mths old, now I’m 14mths+ and I can complete the puzzle on my own..(hehe haolian hor…) Watch me…:)

Daddy & Mummy also taught me the following basics and I managed to show them all , except for the final one of this list:
· Where is my leg?
· Where are my hands?
· Where is my tongue?
· Where is my head?
· How to blink my eyes?
· Where is my nose? Well… Mummy has been trying hard to teach me this one. But I kept pointing at my mouth instead… Keke… Give me some time lah… And I can do it.

On the volume while watching it..hehe :)

PLAYING WITH TENNYSON KOR KOR

PLAYING WITH TENNYSON KOR KOR

Mummy had earlier booked a Trial lesson at Gymboree in the afternoon but I was down with a running nose. So I had to give it a miss this time. But Mummy would arrange another lesson time for me along with my friends – Aloysius and Adriel. J Then later in the evening, I had many visitors – Tennyson kor kor & family, Aunty Violet, Uncle Vista and his girlfriend. They had gathered at my house to catch up with one another and watch the Olympics Games. They were Mummy’s primary school classmate (Aunty Pheng, Aunty Violet & Uncle Vista). Mummy took out one of my toys – “Aqua Doodle”. It was a very nice gift from Aunty Irene for my 1st bday. It’s simple to play with – Juz use water and u can draw and draw on the rubber drawing mat provided. As usual, new things are always worth fighting for and we kids kept fighting over the drawing brushes. Mummy and Aunty Pheng also fought as well to join in the fun. What a headache. Hehe!!!

NICE RED BUTTON!!!

NICE RED BUTTON!!!

We went shopping at Ngee Ann City. There’s a baby fair during this period of time. While Mummy was happily doing her busy shopping, I noticed a red button on Aunty Q’s skirt and felt like digging it out. I was very happy whenever I saw the red button… Hehe… Well… There was really nothing much to blog cos it’s a short evening outing. We had dinner and went home right after that.

SOUTHERN RIDGES OF SINGAPORE

SOUTHERN RIDGES OF SINGAPORE

Early this morning, we went to explore the Southern Ridges. I was initially in the pram. After Mummy let me loose (that is, out of my pram), I decided not to sit back on my pram liao. I walked around on my own, as I didn’t let Mummy hold my hand. (Me a bit ‘haolian’ hor... Keke…) Daddy was afraid that I might fall down coz the bridge is quite steep (for me) at times. Daddy decided to carry me as we were about to go home

We had walked a short distance of 0.3km; that is the distance of the bridge that connects Mt Faber and Telok Blangah Hill. That bridge is called “Henderson Waves”. At 36 metres above Henderson Road, Henderson Waves is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore! The “waves” rise over and below the deck and function as shelters with seats. Slats of Balau wood, an all-weather wood found in South-East Asia, were used for the decking. Go for the walk if u all want to sweat out..:)

ARRIVAL OF MY COUSIN JACKIE ON 4th AUG 2008!!!

ARRIVAL OF MY COUSIN JACKIE ON 4th AUG 2008!!!

Mummy and Daddy went to visit Cousin Jackie this morning without me cos I had to go to school. Sigh~ I couldn’t get to see Cousin Jackie yet, but Mummy assured me that she will bring me to see him during the weekend. When Mummy picked me from school later in the evening, Mummy showed me Cousin Jackie’s photos. Mummy asked “Where is Baby Jackie?” and I pointed him correctly on the photo. Yeah! Yeah! I now have a cousin to play with.

HEIDI JIE JIE IN THE HOUSE

When I reached home, I saw Heidi jie jie came to visit her granny who is also our neighbour. Mummy was busy talking to Aunty Shirley and she forgot all about me… Aiyo!!! Talk no more lah!!! Quickly bathe and feed me dinner cos I wanna play with Heidi jie jie… Hehe… After my dinner, Heidi jie jie came over. At first, we would play on our own and when I noticed Aunty Shirley coming close to me, I would start to cry. After warming up for a while, I started to share my toys with Heidi jie jie and asked her (in our baby language) to put the play rings in its pole together with me. We would take turns to put the rings in the pole. It was so much fun!!! When it was time to go home, Heidi jie jie was reluctant to leave and she cried out loud. She had wanted to stay and play with me for a little while longer. “Next time bah”, I told her (in our baby language) and we slammed our little hands on the plastic cover on our front gate “Biang biang biang biang…”– that was our way of saying goodbye. Hope that our mummies would arrange another day for us to come together and play again…

MY NEW TOY & FUNTIME AT ALOYSIUS’ HOUSE

MY NEW TOY & FUNTIME AT ALOYSIUS’ HOUSE

When I woke up from my nap and couldn’t see Mummy, I started to roll all over the mattress and make noises to let Mummy know that I have waked UP!!! Hehe... Then I saw Mummy walk into the bedroom and she carried me and said “Look! Who is here?” Oh… Big Mushroom Aunt was here. Then I noticed that she was carrying something on her hand that attracted my sight. It’s a nice set of “Megablocks” toy and I knew it instantly that it was meant for me. I tell you huh… Though I would have looked ‘blur blur’ (coz I juz woke up); my eyes was locked onto the toy when Big Aunt was walking towards me. Hehe… When Big Aunt gave me the new toy, I quickly hugged it close to my chest. *giggles* Mummy said I could only play later coz it was time for my lunch. After gobbling my lunch, I happily rushed to play with my new toy. How nice the feeling was – to have awakened from my nap and received gifts from Big Aunt!!! Well… This sure made my day… and of cos I gave Big Mushroom Aunt, not just one kiss but many kisses, while Mummy was trying to take pictures of this whole kissing scene. One must be courteous mah, you know… And Big Aunt was very happy bcoz normally whenever she does come to visit me, I would act very “DAO” (anti-social) one lor; I would never let her (or even anyone else) get close to me. So to Big Aunt and the rest out there, you would know what to do when you wanna come and see me hor… (Buy toys for me :p) Then you will get more kisses from me~haha!~

We met up with Aloysius for dinner. I and Aloysius were very noisy… We sat opposite each other, so that was why we needed to raise our voice slightly to try to communicate with each other. Kekeke... After dinner, all of us went to Aloysius’s house. Wah!!! Aloysius has so many toys. I spotted one chair and I liked it so much that I kept sitting on it. Daddy then had decided to buy one for me, no matter what the price is. Well… We’ll just wait and see… Keke… We were roaming around his house, looking for toys to play. Mummy thought that Aloysius and myself were amazingly cute. Just imagine two 14th month old little kids, short short, walking up and down the house. Aloysius likes to talk a lot; he would talk and talk; and only I would understand what he was saying.~hahaha!~ Here’s some pictures ~ check out my favourite chair.
